Winter holidays in sesto pusteria - dolomites

Be enchanted by a beautiful winter wonderland, soft snow covering the landscape and enjoy unforgettable hours on the skiing slopes of the Sesto Dolomites or simply walking through the Fiscalina Valley or the Val di Dentro.

In winter too, we suggest you leave your car parked for the lenght of your stay, using public transport to reach all surrounding areas.

Whether you take a trip to the Monte Elmo or to the Croda Rossa, the breath taking views will not disappoint you! If you love nature, you should not miss the Croda Rossa and the longest toboggan slide in the Pusteria Valley (5km), its gigantic snowmen family and the fairy-like sled pulled by reindeers. Magic experiences framed by the impressive Sesto Dolomites. For those who love skiing, great down hill slopes on the Monte Elmo, Croda Rossa or Baranci offer plenty of fun and unique emotions for everyone!

Worth mentioning is also the cross country skiing, well known and traditional sport in our valley. The Alta Pusteria ring offers 200km of very well prepared cross country skiing tracks.

Or why not experience nature at its best by walking with "Ciaspole-snow shoes" through snow covered forests following foxes' and hares' footprints?

As you can see, there is something for everyone's taste! You can start your daily adventure from the farmhouse's doorstep, without the need to use your own car.

Come and visit us - we will be glad to give you all kind of advice on how to have a wonderful holiday!

A store room for sports equipment is at our guests' disposal!

As our guests you get the SkiMobileDolomites Card for free , that allows unlimited use of all ski buses in the Pusteria / Pustertal valley (incl. Val Badia) as well as of all means of public transportation (including regional trains) throughout South Tyrol.

PAVING THE WAY FOR 200 KILOMETERS OF SLOPES!

Starting with December 2014, the construction of the railway station Versciaco brings the two Pusteria ski resorts of "Plan de Corones" and "Sesto Dolomites" closer together, and combines them into a unique ski carousel. The newly created train connection means the way is paved for 200 kilometers of slopes! Starting with December 2014, it will be possible to commute within 30 minutes between the two ski resorts and thus be able to experience more than 200 kilometers of slopes. With the Ski Pustertal Express you can then comfortably ride from the valley station Ried at Plan de Corones to the valley station Monte Elmo at the entrance of the Sesto Dolomites - and vice versa. No more annoying taking off of the ski boots, no cumbersome driving by car.
